Christianity and Jewism.
Jarusalem is also known as Yerushalem and Shalem in few other languages or regions.
Jerusalem is sacred and holy city for Islam, Christianity and Judaism, it’s popular for centre of all these three major religions.
Geographically Jerusalem is a disputed territory between Israel (Jews) and Palestine (Muslims).
Israel won’t let it go because their most sacred place Western Wall is in Jerusalem and other reason being
their sacrifice for the place.
Jews has been sent to exile and their temples were broken when Jarusalem was captured by Solom
son of King David.
Israel has its Parliament and supreme court in Jerusalem which makes Jarusalem judicial and legislative
capital of Israel.
Apart from Western wall Jarusalem is also famous for Al-Aksa Mosque which is very important and sacred place
for Muslims.
One common feature in all the three major religions is that they are called as Abrahamic religions and
another common feature between them is Temple Mount which is known as Haram al Sharif Mosque
among Muslims.

Currently Jerusalem is the main and core reason of Israel-Palestine conflict although United Stated has
recently declared Jerusalem as capital and part of Israel but most of the countries has not acknowledged this.
United States and Israel believe that making Jerusalem capital of Israel will end the conflict but it’s not true
and in fact it’s believed to be emerged as the beginning of a new conflict between the two states.
Most of the countries have denied Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and when the similar campaign was
raised in United nations around 98% of its total members were against the firm being Jerusalem as Capital or
part of Israel.
This part of the world will always be a major conflict reason between the two religions and two countries.
